Frequently asked questions for players and creators on Netcade.
How do I create an account?

- Click Sign Up at the top right of the page.
- Enter your email, choose a password, and pick a username.
- You can also register using supported social logins if enabled.
- After verifying your email, your account is ready to use!
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

- On the login screen, click Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address and follow the reset link sent to your inbox.
- If you don't see the email, check your spam or promotions folders.
How do I add games to my library?
▶
- Find a game and click Add to Library or Add to Favorites on its page.
- Purchased, free, or favorited games appear in your library for instant access.
How do I play games on Netcade?
▶
- Many games are playable directly in your browser — just click Play!
- For downloadable games, install the Netcade Client, download the game, and launch from your library.
Can I leave reviews on games?

- Yes! Players with at least 5 minutes of playtime can leave reviews and ratings.
- Your feedback helps other players and supports indie creators.
How do I upload a game or content as a creator?

- Register and verify your account, then go to the Creator Dashboard.
- Click Upload Content and follow the wizard for games, videos, or music.
- Provide required info (title, description, cover art, etc) and wait for approval.
What is the upload limit for games and videos?

- Web uploads support up to 2GB per file.
- Larger files? Use the Netcade Client for seamless chunked uploads.
Can I earn revenue from my games/content?

- Yes! Creators earn ad revenue share and can enable tipping or donations.
- Analytics and earnings are tracked in your dashboard.
How do payouts work for creators?

- Connect Stripe or PayPal for secure payouts.
- Request a payout from your dashboard. Payouts process within 7 business days (minimum threshold applies).
- All sensitive financial info is handled by payment providers—not Netcade.
How does paid content work on Netcade?

- When you upload, you can set your game, video, or music as free or paid.
- Players can purchase paid content instantly—no wait for approval.
- Netcade only takes 5% of paid sales (plus payment processor fees), so creators keep 95% of each sale.
- All sales revenue and payout status are visible in your Creator Dashboard.
- Stripe/PayPal payout fees are deducted from the creator’s balance, not paid by the buyer.
How much ad revenue do creators receive?

- Creators receive 90% of ad revenue generated by their free content. Netcade keeps 10% to cover platform costs.
- Ad revenue is distributed monthly based on views and playtime.
- Any Stripe/PayPal payout fees are paid by the creator, so players don’t pay extra.
- You can track ad impressions, revenue, and payouts in your dashboard.
How do Netcade subscriptions work?

- Players can subscribe for $4.99/month to unlock premium features—ad-free access, early releases, and more.
- 100% of subscription revenue goes to supporting and growing Netcade. As we scale, we plan to share a portion of subscription revenue with top creators as a loyalty bonus.
- Subscribers can manage their subscription any time in Account Settings.
Is there a minimum payout amount?

- Yes. To avoid excessive fees, the minimum payout is $10.
- You can request a payout from your dashboard once your balance reaches $10 or more.
