For creators & developers

Put your game where people can just play it.

Netcade is an internet arcade. Upload a web game and it's instantly playable in the browser — one link, no install, no launcher, no fee. You keep your revenue, you keep your rights, and while we're small, your game sits on the front page instead of page 40 of a store.

No listing fee. No exclusivity. Delete your stuff whenever you want.

What you get

🕹️

Instant-play hosting

Web games (HTML5 / canvas / WebGL) run right on your game's page. Downloadable builds work too — delivered through the Netcade desktop client, Steam-style.

🏆

Achievements & leaderboards

A tiny Game API gives your game achievements, leaderboards, and player accounts with a few lines of JavaScript — the stuff that usually needs a backend you'd have to build.

💵

Real monetization, day one

Sell your game, take tips, offer supporter subscriptions, earn from boosts you host — and every creator gets a free Boost slot to cross-promote their work across the arcade. All optional; free games are first-class citizens.

📺

A channel, not just a listing

Your page is a channel: games, devlogs/videos, music, live streams, subscribers, comments. Your community collects in one place you control.

🚀

Early means visible

We're new and honest about it. The upside: the front page isn't crowded. Good games get featured placement, not buried under 10,000 asset flips.

🔓

Your game stays yours

Non-exclusive, no rights grab, no lock-in. Keep selling on itch, Steam, anywhere. We're another place people can find and play your work.

The money, plainly

You earn fromYou keepHow it works
Game & content sales ~94% We take no platform cut. You pay exactly the card processor's cost (2.9% + 30¢), passed through at cost. A $9.99 sale nets you $9.40. Compare: Steam ~70%, itch default 90%.
Supporter subscriptions 95% Fans subscribe to you monthly at prices you set, for perks you define (early access, supporter-only content).
Tips ~91–97% One-off tips on any of your content; only card fees come out (2.9% + 30¢ — smaller tips carry proportionally more of the 30¢).
Ads you approve per-view rate Netcade ads come from other creators promoting their work — not adtech. You choose whether to host ads at all, and can block any advertiser.

Payouts to your bank account. Earnings clear after a short hold (fraud protection), then withdraw from your creator dashboard.

Shipping your game takes about ten minutes

  1. Create your channel.

Free account → your channel page exists immediately.

  2. Upload the zip.

Creator dashboard → Upload. For web games, zip your build (index.html at the root). The wizard takes cover art, screenshots, description, and a dedicated controls field so players always know the keys.

  3. Get your link.

Your game page is live at netcade.com — send it anywhere. Players click once and they're playing.

The honest part

Netcade is early. We won't pretend you'll get a million players next week — we're recruiting the first wave of developers right now, which is exactly why it's worth your ten minutes:

Founding creators get concierge treatment. Show us your game in the Discord and we'll help you package it, upload it for you if you like, feature it on the front page, and fix anything that gets in your way — usually same-day. Try getting that from a big store.

Fair questions

What engines/formats work?
Anything that exports to HTML5 runs in the browser: hand-rolled JS/canvas, Phaser, Godot (web export), Construct, GDevelop, Defold, PICO-8, Unity WebGL. Native/desktop builds (Unreal, Unity, Godot) ship as downloadables through the Netcade client.
Do I need to integrate anything?
No. A plain zip works as-is. The Game API is optional — and it's genuinely one line: parent.postMessage({netcade:'unlock', slug:'first_win'}, '*') gives your game real platform achievements with XP and leaderboard placement. Quickstart in the docs.
Is there review/approval?
A light human review to keep malware and stolen work out — usually fast, and while we're small you can literally ping us in Discord to look at it now.
What about my existing itch/Steam pages?
Keep them. Netcade is non-exclusive. Many devs use Netcade as the instant-play link in their socials/devlogs (nothing converts like "click → playing in 3 seconds") while selling everywhere else.
Who's behind this?
An independent developer building the arcade they wished existed — also documenting the journey on YouTube (Unreal Engine series). You'll talk to the actual human in Discord.

Show us what you've made.

Drop your game in the Discord — we'll play it, and if you want it on Netcade we'll make it effortless.
