Netcade — Legal
Refund Policy
Fair to players, fair to creators. Here is exactly when a purchase on Netcade can be refunded and how it works.
The short version
1 Digital purchases
Games, videos, and music bought on Netcade can be refunded within 14 days of purchase when at least one of these is true:
- The content is broken — it doesn't run, play, or download as intended.
- The content is materially not as described on its page.
- The purchase was accidental and substantially unused.
Where consumer law gives you stronger rights (for example EU/UK statutory rights), those rights apply and nothing in this policy limits them.
2 Memberships
- Cancel anytime from your account settings — cancellation stops future billing, and your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
- A charge that was already billed is refundable within 14 days if the membership was substantially unused in that period.
3 How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] from your account email, or use the contact page.
- Include the item name and roughly when you bought it — we can look up the rest.
- Tell us which of the reasons above applies (broken / not as described / accidental).
We respond within one business day.
4 Effect on creator earnings
When a purchase is refunded or charged back, the corresponding creator earning is reversed from the creator's wallet. This keeps refunds clean: buyers are made whole, and no creator ever pays for another creator's refund.
5 Fair-use limits
We may decline refunds where the pattern indicates abuse — for example repeatedly purchasing, consuming, and refunding content. Accounts engaging in refund abuse can lose refund privileges or be suspended under the Terms of Service.
6 Processing times
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. We'll confirm by email when the refund is issued.
